Helping You Find JOY

A couple times a year, we get invited to a fund raising event.  

The first for this year, was for The JOY FM (Check them out here, you can even listen online) a christian radio station that plays GREAT music!

Their special guest was Mark Schultz.  His music is great, but if you ever have the opportunity to hear him live, you must go!  He will have you laughing and then crying as soon as he starts singing (not because he's bad, but the lyrics are really good). See Letters From War video here

I'm Not That Girl

Last weekend Gary and I went to see "Wicked" with a few friends. 

I was so excited! We've seen the show before,
but Wicked is one of my favorites. 

As we were talking about what we were going to wear,
Tammy suggested witches hats.In all the excitement, I agreed.

However, 

when I got home and started thinking about it,

I panicked, "I'm Not that Girl" (ok, those of you not familiar with Wicked, Listen here)

After a little encouragement from my great friends and 
help from Breaking Free (my current bible study) 
I brought the hat and wore it!

 How cute were we? 

Apparently, I CAN be that girl! 

Titles are OVERRATED!

I have been wanting to start a blog for sometime now.
Not that I have so many interesting things to say,
but would really like to remember things we do.
I thought the scrapbook scene would help with that.
However, you really need to put more than a couple of scrapbooks together to enjoy the memories!

Since my creative juices are not really flowing, I have decided to just move on and get writing and maybe, a friend will come up with a really good title something will come to me in the process.
