If you don't know, we have recently adopted twins
(you may not know this because we have YET to send out announcements).
Having a child brings the need for lots of stuff. Stuff to make them happy, you happy, the family happy, you happy.
Well, with twins, the stuff really does multiply!
Fortunately, for me, I have a pretty remarkable sister
and some amazing friends.
All of which totally ignored my protest of needing to have a shower (they all have multiple children and are far wiser than I am).

They threw me the most beautiful girlie baby shower I could have imagined.
The girls were even able to come to the big event.

Hi! I hopped over from Sarah Mae's "12 Things" linky and I just have two things to say. Actually, three...first, The Princess Bride is MY favorite movie, too! I'm sure you can probably quote it word for word like I can! : )

And lastly, have you ever noticed how much your friend Aundrea looks like Jen from "Balancing Beauty and Bedlam"? I did a double take on both pictures of her, thinking it WAS Jen!
Nice to "meet" you...I don't know if I'll be learning new things this year (well, aside from continuing learning how to care for my mom, who just moved in with me), but I look forward to seeing how others accomplish their goals! Good luck with yours!
